Using the technologies already available in modern smartphones, Mobilaris Companion Go™ provides seamless positioning across outdoor, indoor and underground environments – using GPS, Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Fine Timing Measurement (FTM), a technology that measures distances to Wi-Fi access points for more precise positioning.
Where Wi-Fi FTM infrastructure is available, Mobilaris Companion Go™ can determine its position with meter-level accuracy via phone-to-phone detection, without requiring a dedicated positioning tag.
However, Mobilaris Companion Go™ is much more than a software tag.

Always connected to what matters
Mobilaris Companion Go™ connects every worker directly to Mobilaris Site™, our solution for site-wide visibility of people, vehicles and assetsin real-time. Important information and safety messages can reach the right people immediately, with four distinct priority levels:
- Information
- Warning
- Alarm
- Emergency
Different sounds, vibration patterns and visual alerts make the severity immediately understandable – even in noisy underground environments.
Workers can also raise alarms directly from their smartphone, turning every connected person into an active part of the mine’s safety system.
Know where you are, even without network
Underground connectivity cannot always be taken for granted. That’s why Mobilaris Companion Go™ carries its own distributed instance of the Mobilaris Site™ positioning engine. Even if communication with the mine network is lost, the smartphone can continue determining and displaying the user’s position locally.
With our solutions, positioning intelligence travels with the worker – not only with the infrastructure.
A 3D map in every worker’s pocket
Mobilaris Companion Go™ provides an interactive 3D map of the mine, showing the worker’s current position and enabling guidance and navigation through complex underground environments.
New employees, contractors and visitors can find their destination more easily, while experienced personnel gain immediate situational awareness wherever they are.
When infrastructure fails, people can still find people
During an emergency, parts of the communication infrastructure may become unavailable. Mobilaris Companion Go™ therefore uses peer-to-peer Bluetooth detection to identify nearby colleagues – even when normal network communication is unavailable. This creates an additional decentralized layer of situational awareness precisely when it may matter most.
One smartphone. Multiple safety systems.
Positioning. Messaging. Alarming. 3D navigation. Offline positioning. Peer-to-peer detection. Mobilaris Companion Go™ allows you to gather all in a device people already know how to use.
